PrintAll of us at Hawkins Ash CPAs wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This holiday season, we’ve donated just over $5,000 to local organizations whose services help bring cheer and help to those less fortunate in our communities. The organizations our employees chose include:

La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner: Celebrating 35 years, the La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner is an inclusive event where everyone is invited to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at no cost and share the day with others.

WAFER Pantry: As the largest food pantry in the La Crosse area, WAFER is committed to addressing hunger related needs in La Crosse County, while treating each person with personalized service and dignity. The organization procures food, develops resources, and collaborates with other programs, organizations, and businesses to alleviate hunger and food insecurity.

Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry: The Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry serves Two Rivers, Mishicot and the surrounding area.

Ronald McDonald House of Marshfield: The Ronald McDonald House of Marshfield provides housing to families of seriously ill children, newborn through age 18, who are hospitalized or receiving outpatient treatment at Saint Joseph’s Children’s Hospital or Marshfield Clinic.

Medford Tavern League (Holiday dinner): Annually the Medford Tavern League prepares a holiday dinner and serves nearly 300 meals.

Winona Volunteer Services: Winona Volunteer Services secures and distributes food, clothing, information, referrals, and emergency assistance in a respectful and dignified manner to people in need.

Christmas Anonymous: For 50 years, Christmas Anonymous has helped make Christmas a wonderful time of year for those in need in Olmsted County. The organization secures and distributes food, toys, outerwear, and bicycles.

Marine Toys for Tots (Green Bay): The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
