Robin Earleywine, CPA, is promoted to senior associate. Robin began working at Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2015. She provides audit services to privately held businesses, employee benefit plans, and nonprofit organizations. Robin graduated from UW-La Crosse and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

 

Corenne Gutierrez is promoted to marketing manager. Corenne began working at Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2011. She develops and deploys strategic marketing and communications plans that fulfill the marketing goals of the firm as a whole, each office and business line. Her responsibilities include copywriting and editing, graphic design and digital publishing, advertising and promotion, event planning, social media planning and execution, as well as media relations and website management. Corenne graduated from UW-Green Bay.

 

Jennifer Haas, CPA, is promoted to manager of the firm’s housing division. Jennifer joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2009. Prior to joining the firms housing division as a fee accountant, she served as an in-charge auditor for housing authorities. As a manager, she provides financial accounting and consulting services to housing authorities nationwide. She is a qualified reviewer for all housing authority financial statements. Jennifer graduated from UW-La Crosse and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Justin Kudick is promoted to senior associate. Justin joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2015. He provides audit services to nonprofit organizations, credit unions and a variety of businesses. Justin earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UW-Whitewater.

 

 

Joe Nurmi, CPA, is promoted to manager. Joe joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2014. He prepares audited, reviewed and compiled financials. He focuses on privately held businesses, municipalities, school districts and nonprofit organizations. Joe is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor in addition to being a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University.

 

 

Briana Peters, CPA, is promoted to manager. Briana joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2013. She performs audits, reviews, and compilations of nonprofit organizations, employee benefit plans and privately held businesses. She earned her bachelor’s degree from UW-Green Bay and is a Certified Public Accountant. She holds a Not-for-Profit certificate through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

 

 

Matt Savaske is promoted to senior associate. Matt joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2016. He provides audit services to municipalities, housing authorities and school districts. He graduated from St. Norbert College.

 

 

 

Leslie Smith is promoted to senior associate. Leslie joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2015. Her responsibilities include providing general accounting and tax services to a variety of clients. She graduated from UW-Green Bay.

 

 

Jeff Tillema, CPA, is promoted to senior manager. Jeff joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2015. He performs tax preparation and planning to privately held businesses and individuals. He reviews tax returns and financial statements and trains tax associates in the firm’s Winona office. Jeff graduated from UW-La Crosse and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

 

Charles Wendlandt, CPA, is promoted to manager. Charles joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2011. His responsibilities include planning, test of transactions and preparation of financial statements for ERISA audits. He also works on compilations and reviews and the preparation of corporate tax returns. He serves as co-chairperson of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Service Group. Charles graduated from UW-Eau Claire and is a Certified Public Accountant.

I joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2016 as the Human Resources Manager. In this role, I serve as the primary contact for all staff regarding employment-related concerns or questions. I work on policy, organizational planning, employment, training, employee relations, compensation and benefits, safety and health and employee services. I also provide HR consulting to the firm’s clients.
I have more than 12 years of experience as HR manager and recruiter.
